Tell Congress to step up to end genocide

Before it takes recess later this month, Congress can and must take action to end genocide and other mass atrocities. Will you tell your Members of Congress to step up?

Where’s the new Burma sanctions bill?

The people of Myanmar need your help. It has been more than five months since the 2/1/21 military coup. Since then, the military has murdered more than 850 peaceful protesters and thrown many more in jail. Let’s demand Congress take action to cut off all funding to the military and give full support to the #CivilDisobedienceMovement (CDM).

Tell your U.S. Members of Congress to co-sponsor the upcoming new Burma sanctions bill.

Thanks to your calls and emails, the Biden Administration has imposed increasing sanctions on the Myanmar military and its business interests. But we need Congress to speak out and take action. Click here to join our national call to action from June 21st to the 25th.

Free Uyghurs From Forced Labor in China

People belonging to ethnic, cultural, and religious groups in northwestern China, including Uyghurs, Kazakhs, Kyrgyz, and Hui, are currently the target of the largest organized detention of ethno-religious minorities the world has seen since World War II. Detainees are forced to work and their labor contributes to the production of goods for numerous multinationals.

To cut off imports to the United States of apparel made by forced labor, we are pressing our Members of Congress to pass the Uyghur Forced Labor Prevention Act.

Action #1:
